Ruth Amdur became a member of the Family Lawyers Mackay team in June 2022. She received her Bachelor of Laws from Griffith University Law School in 2021, graduating with first-class honours. Having recently completed her graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Leo Cussen’s, Ruth is currently awaiting confirmation of her admission into the Australian legal profession as a solicitor.
During her studies is where Ruth’s enthusiasm for family law emerged. She engaged in research relating to how social science intersects with family law and multiple core research projects with The Australian Institute of Family Studies. As a sessional family law exam marker and law tutor at Griffith University, she enjoys empowering students to overcome academic challenges and reach their personal goals.
